It’s hard to even begin to describe the experience! Robert and the band have definately found their groove together. They were absolutely amazing, and seeing them do the new songs live was a treasure to behold.
Robert came out and looked wonderful! Black shirt with ruffle, snakeskin pants and black shoes. Slight hint of the beard and hair a bit longer and definately fluffy and curly! He was quite chatty that night and seemed to enjoy himself. He targeted one audience member that was sitting down in the front row. Told him to get up off his &&*%#@* behind! It was quite amusing. He danced and moved and grooved to the music. Even came over to our side of the stage at one point to give us a nod and a big smile. The new songs were a highlight, but I love the way they did “When The Levee Breaks.” The harmonies they incorporated into this song were just beautifully done.
The venue was outdoors and it clouded up for a bit, but Robert came on and the clouds were even blown away! We stood up the entire time and danced and sang our fool heads off! Along with the two shirts I ordered from the website earlier, I got the girls “Dancing In Heaven” shirt, and the green “Freedom Fries” shirt. I managed to get the set list from the stage, and will place it along with my treasures. The real treasure that night was enjoying the music along with lovely friends that truly are treasures!
