This a collection of quotations by Robert on a variety of subjects.

The collection is fully searchable. If you are looking for a quote on a certain subject or using a certain word, the search box will help you find it.

Each quotation is also categorized by subject. You can choose one of the items listed under “categories” and see all the quotes filed under that category.

The quotation database is continually being added to, so check back often. The most recently-added quotes will be at the top.

If you have a Robert quote that you think would be suitable, you may submit it using the contact form. In order for the quote to be used, you must provide a valid source of the quotation and an approximate timeframe of the quote. If you are submitting a quote said by Robert at one of his shows, you must provide the date and place of the show.

The quotation database is designed as a reference tool, and therefore the quotes need to be documented and not “This guy I know told me Robert said this” type of things. A valid “source” would be a newspaper, radio interview, or yourself hearing Robert say something. Not all submitted quotations will be used. If they cannot be verified, they will not be published. Manic Nirvana strives for accuracy regarding quotations and newstories.

The lyrics are as close to what is sung on the albums as possible. They were gathered by starting with printed lyrics, then listening carefully to the songs to compare the two. If the performed version seems to differ, that is what you will find here. Often the lyrics printed in songbooks or lyric sheets vary because they do not reflect studio inprovisation. All of the lyrics are copyrighted material and belong to the respective authors. These are credited where known.
